Serving the Church

USHER : Greet people as they enter the church, hand out bulletins, collect the offering during the service, and tidy up the sanctuary after the service. All regular attendees of the church may serve in this capacity. A time commitment of two consecutive Sundays from 10:35 a.m. until the end of the service is required.

KINDI/PRIMARY CLASS ASSISTANT : Assist the teacher during the Sunday School kindi class (2.5-5 year-olds) or primary class (grade 1-2) with helping children to learn, read, and assisting with arts/crafts, etc. All regular attendees of the church may serve in this capacity (pending approval based on experience and testimony).  Assistants commit to Sundays from the time children are dismissed through the end of the service. SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER : Teach children Sunday School classes using the provided course materials. All members of the church may serve in this capacity (pending approval based on experience and testimony). Teachers commit to 4 consecutive Sundays from the time children are dismissed through the end of the service. Additional time to review teaching materials and set up the classroom may be needed. Contact fpchurch@friendshiptaipei.com if interested in making an eternal difference to our children in Christ.

WORSHIP TEAM MEMBER : Sing or play an instrument during the church service or during a community-group fellowship. All regular attendees of the church may serve in this capacity (pending approval based on experience and testimony. Audition required.). A time commitment of one Sunday service per month, including either Thursday evening or Saturday morning rehearsal.

NURSERY : Assist with watching children 2.5 years old and younger in the nursery. All regular attendees of the church may serve in this capacity (pending approval based on experience and testimony). Women volunteers or couples serving together are preferred. A time commitment of one Sunday service every two months is required.

AUDIO/VIDEO TEAM: Serve alongside our A/V team with your skills (or interest) in audio/video presentation during our Sunday service. Trainings will be provided. Contact fpchurch@friendshiptaipei.com and we will get you connected.

AFTER-SERVICE FELLOWSHIP TEAM: Help is needed for the set-up and clean-up of our weekly snack and drink fellowship held after the service in B107. Contact Deacon Patricia Tsai or fpchurch@friendshiptaipei.com for details.
