Thoughts on faith and life at Friendship Church

New Members

Peter Brown

We always rejoice to welcome new members into the FPC family. Jesus said that his true family was not made up of those he shared blood with, but those who do the will of God (Mark 3:31-35). Please seek out and greet your new brothers and sisters!

Prayer Requests

Peter Brown

Pray for the construction of the church of Taipei Xinyou Church 3.0

The site of our old (and new) building.

1. Pray that the process of geological drilling, testing, the submission of the geological survey report would go well; and for the next structural design (it is decided to use reinforced concrete or steel-reinforced concrete construction). Please pray all these will be done with the wisdom given by God.

2. Pray for everyone involved in the Reconstruction Committee, that they can move together with one heart, and build a Christ-centered team culture during the weekly meetings, and that they can successfully achieve the predetermined work goals according to the plan with concrete results.

3. Pray for the Mandarin section Senior Pastor’s Office Team, the three newly appointed chief and deputy executive elders, full-time co-workers, and the elders and deacons who are in charge, they can learn to walk together in the next three years, and work together to build a building that uses God’s words as the driving force to build up the church, fellowship and mission-minded disciples.

Christmas Eve Pix

Peter Brown

In chapter 7 of the Book of Revelation, the author is given a vision of Heaven in which he sees “a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…” (verse 9). At FPC, we organize our Christmas Eve service so that the account of the birth of Jesus is told in the multiple languages that are found in our congregation…
