Join the Friendship Club on Thursday evening June 6 to hear Dr. Diane Poythress speak on the topic ‘Most Important’ from Mark 1:35-2:12. We are honored to have Dr. Diane and her husband Dr. Vern join us each year at Friendship Church.

Dr. Diane has a Masters in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Reformation and Historical Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary, which included a semester at the University of Basel, Switzerland. Informally, she also studied at LAbri Switzerland under Dr. Francis Schaeffer and at Ligonier under RC Sproul who had led her to faith in Christ in college. She has published two books, Reformer of Basel on the Reformer Oecolampadius and My Child. His Child concerning families and the 10 commandments.. For 17 years she has taught 11-13 year old Sunday school. She also teaches bilingual Bible studies (Mandarin/English). In recent years, she and her husband have been missionaries, traveling yearly to Asia, where she has taught several times at China Reformed Theological Seminary.
